ADELANTO — The new Bank of America in Adelanto is the only one of it’s kind in the United States.
It’s insulated with blue jeans — yes, blue jeans. And it’s being called the “Greenest” bank ever built.
The bank meets the highest certification standard, Platinum, in the United States Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program which is a standard few retail buildings in the country have reached, said Scott McCage, senior associate for Gensler global design company, who designed the building.
