I come across a number of interesting news items everyday.  Some directly affecting banking and many related to business in general.  A few are darned interesting and I have decided to share the links in a new sidebar section called, “News You Use”.

Incidentally, I particularly liked the links in red.

[UPGRADE] Lijit Search Added to Site

A design concept, presentation, or post, is only as good as the information it is derived from. And valuable information can be hard to find.  At least until now.

After reviewing a number of search alternatives, I have recently installed Lijit Search to allow my readers direct access to the banking, design, and trend sites I use to develop my design concepts and this blog.

I think you will not only find it interesting to use, but very helpful.

UPGRADE-Snap Shots Preview Tool

I have updated the site by adding a preview tool called Snap Shots (snap.com). When you hover over a link, you can visually preview the destination site.

It's great to see where you might be headed before you click. You may even get the information you need from the linked site, without having to leave Designing Banks.

If this is not for you, just click the Options icon in the upper right corner of the Snap Shot window and opt-out.
